On the evening of Tuesday, December 6, Sieben Energy Associates attended the Illinois Chapter of ASHRAE's annual holiday party. For the second year in a row, we left with brand new hardware recognizing our energy efficiency work. We were honored by our industry peers with two Excellence in Engineering Awards for projects completed in 2016. The Chapter hosted the party at the Metropolitan Club on the 66th and 67th floors of Willis Tower in downtown Chicago.
Joining us at the ceremony were representatives from the client organizations with whom we worked on the award-winning projects. Thanks to the esteemed judges for recognizing the innovative and cost-effective approaches to energy efficiency our engineers demonstrated in their work.
We earned our second award for a retro-commissioning project at Grace Lake Corporate Center in Van Buren Township, Michigan. This assignment also yielded annual electricity savings of nearly 2 million kilowatt-hours, as well as annual natural gas savings of over 2.4 million cubic feet. Our engineers partnered with 500 West Madison staff and building engineers, and ComEd's energy efficiency incentive program administrator Nexant.
Danylo Dobriansky of Sovereign Partners celebrated with us at the holiday party. For more information about the Grace Lake Corporate Center project, download the case study we shared with attendees.
Sieben Energy Associates has long a history of performing award-winning work. Our exceptional staff and strong work ethic are central to our success. But we could not have achieved these results at 500 West Madison and Grace Lake Corporate Center without the enthusiasm and cooperation of our client partners.
We are thrilled to share these awards with our clients. And more importantly, we are thrilled that each project will deliver over $100,000 in verified energy cost savings year after year.
